Marks & Spencer is recalling 20-packs of its cocktail sausage rolls due to the packs having incorrect use-by dates, which may make the rolls unsafe to eat, the company says.
According to the recall notice, a small number of M&S 20 Cocktail Sausage Rolls that come in a 296-gram pack with the barcode number 00395724 were incorrectly labelled with a use-by date of 10 January, 2022.
Marks & Spencer says it has put up point-of-sale notices in all stores that sell the M&S 20 Cocktail Sausage Rolls. It urges customers not to eat the rolls and to instead return them to the store where they were bought for a full refund.
M&S Says Customer Safety Important, Apologizes For Incovenience
“Customer safety is of paramount importance to Marks & Spencer and we take all issues regarding the production of foods extremely seriously,” the company says in a customer notice. “We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused.”

Just two weeks ago, Marks & Spencer recalled its Made Without Wheat Gluten-Free White Sourdough Cob bread due to it containing wheat flour or gluten.
The company said in the recall notice that the mislabeled products posed a possible health risk for those who might be wheat or gluten allergic or intolerant.
