Nuby Baby Cup Recall Overview:
- Who: Baby product manufacturer Nuby is recalling its Incredible Gulp and Super Quench children’s cups.
- Why: The straw and spout of the cups are damaged, which can cause the mouth part of the spout to detach, creating a choking hazard.
- Where: The recall is effective in the United Kingdom.
Baby product manufacturer Nuby is recalling two of its children’s cups due to a choking hazard posed by the straw and spout.
In a recall notice, the company says all of its Incredible Gulp and Super Quench cups sold on the Nuby UK website or in Asda, Morrisons, Tesco or Boots between November 1, 2021, and January 14, 2022, are subject to recall.
“We have identified that there is a small chance that the silicone straw and spout in the lid of the cup may be damaged,” the company writes. “If the straw or spout is damaged, then the mouth part of the spout could become detached when a pulling force is applied. This part may be a potential choking hazard.”
