Dunelm and Cosatto Infant Sleeping Bag Recall Overview:

  • Who: Home décor company Dunelm is recalling 14 Cosatto and Dunelm baby sleeping bags. 
  • Why: Dunelm says the poppers used on the sleeping bags may detach, causing a small parts hazard and choking risk.
  • Where: The recall is effective nationwide in the United Kingdom.

Home décor company Dunelm is recalling 14 Cosatto and Dunelm baby sleeping bags due to a potential choking risk posed by the poppers on the bags’ shoulders.

In a recall notice posted on the company’s website, Dunelm says the poppers used on the sleeping bags may detach, causing a small parts hazard.

The sleeping bags, which come in a range of designs, were sold by Dunelm both in-store and online.

They include:

Consumers with the recalled sleeping bags are being urged by Dunelm to stop using them immediately and return them to their nearest Dunelm store for a full refund.

In January, baby product manufacturer Nuby had to recall two of its children’s cups due to a choking hazard posed by the straw and spout. In a recall notice, the Nuby said all of its Incredible Gulp and Super Quench cups sold on the Nuby UK website or in Asda, Morrisons, Tesco or Boots between Nov. 1, 2021, and Jan. 14, 2022, are subject to recall. It offered customers a full refund.
